Abertis has become a member of the Corporate Partnership Board (CPB) of the International Transport Forum (ITF), intergovernmental organisation with 57 member countries that facilitates global dialogue for better transport.
ITF acts as a think tank for member governments and organizes an annual meeting of transport ministers. The CPB is the ITF’s platform for engaging with the private sector and to enrich global transport policy discussion with a business perspective.
Francisco Reynés, Vice-Chairman and CEO of Abertis, said: “We are very pleased to become part of the Corporate Partnership Board of the International Transport Forum. As the world leader in toll road management industry, we are committed to all initiatives that allow us to share experiences and knowledge with the leading actors of the industry in order to create a common innovative platform to find solutions to the challenges that the transportation sector is facing in the near future, such as congestion, pollution or road safety.”
ITF’s CPB is composed of several companies in industries related to transport, such as the automotive, technology, or construction among many others.
