Abertis' subsidiary dedicated to mobility services based on free flow tolling solutions has been awarded the management of a dynamic tolling system on two highways in Puerto Rico, a pioneering system to improve traffic and reduce accidents and pollution.

·          Thanks to a three-year agreement, both companies will jointly explore innovative solutions to reduce the impact of traffic and contribute to sustainability, offering a better service to users of the Abertis Group's international toll roads.

• Abertis has acquired a 51.3% stake of Mexican concessionaire RCO for a total amount of €1.5 Bn. Thus, RCO will be fully consolidated in the Abertis Group's accounts.

Abertis promotes the International Road Safety Forum Network in the countries where it is present, with the aim of bringing together public representatives and specialists to advance road safety.

System is devised to manage a toll collection on electric vehicles to finance road maintenance, given that this kind of vehicles do not pay the fuel tax in the US.
