•Holding d’Insfrastructures de Transport (HIT), a subsidiary of Abertis in France, has successfully executed the issue of €600 million bonds maturing in 2029, with a book 5x times oversubscribed
14 January 2025.- Abertis has successfully closed today a new bond placement of 600 million euros by its French subsidiary Holding d’ Infrastructures de Transport (HIT), which controls 100% of Sanef.
This issue was placed among international qualified investors (5x times oversubscribed), with a tenor of 4.25 years and a 3.375% coupon. The proceeds will be used to refinance HIT's existing debt maturities.
With this new operation, Abertis continues to lengthen its debt maturity profile and maintains an efficient and active management of the company's balance sheet. Likewise, the company once again demonstrates its ability to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the credit market to obtain attractive conditions.

• The agreement includes a €1.4 million contribution for a new three-year period, extending the joint project launched in 2017. The partnership has already benefited more than five million children and adolescents.
• This renewed partnership will focus its activities on two countries where the Foundation is present: Brazil and Mexico.
o In Brazil, the project will promote safe mobility by ensuring safe access to rights and essential services in vulnerable urban areas.o In Mexico, the STEM project will continue to promote science-related subjects among girls and adolescents throughout their educational journey.

• This is one of the main findings of a study conducted by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in collaboration with the TRANSyT Transport Research Centre, and promoted by the Abertis Foundation as part of its international Chairs programme, analysing mobility habits, infrastructure assessments and future expectations.
• 77% of users believe toll roads have better pavement conditions than non-toll roads, and 67% say they feel safer driving on them.
• 85% call for real-time information on accidents and roadworks to be available directly in vehicles, while 75% support expanding barrier-free payment systems.
• 74% say they would use motorways more if they had access to a free electronic payment device, and seven out of ten already use mobile apps to plan their journeys.
